Understanding Your Campaign Analytics

Learn how to track, analyze, and improve your email campaigns using our analytics dashboard.

Getting Started with Analytics

Once your campaign is sent, you'll have access to real-time analytics through your dashboard. The analytics dashboard provides immediate insights into how your campaign is performing, helping you understand your audience's engagement and identify areas for improvement.

Accessing Your Analytics

To view your campaign analytics:

  1. Navigate to the Campaigns section in your dashboard
  2. Select a sent campaign from the list
  3. Click on the "Analytics" tab to view detailed metrics

Understanding Delivery Metrics

Delivery metrics help you understand how successfully your emails are reaching your subscribers' inboxes. These metrics are crucial for maintaining a healthy email program and good sender reputation.

Total Sent vs. Delivered

The dashboard shows both the total number of emails sent and successfully delivered. The difference between these numbers can help identify potential delivery issues:

Example: If you sent 1,000 emails and 980 were delivered, you have a 98% delivery rate – this is considered healthy.

Monitoring Bounces

Bounces are failed delivery attempts. The system automatically tracks both hard bounces (permanent failures) and soft bounces (temporary issues). Keep an eye on your bounce rate:

  • • Healthy bounce rate: Less than 2%
  • • Warning level: 2-5%
  • • Critical level: Above 5%

Spam Complaints

The system tracks when recipients mark your emails as spam. These complaints are serious and should be monitored closely:

Best Practice: Keep complaint rates below 0.1%. Higher rates may indicate issues with content relevance or list quality.

Measuring Engagement

Engagement metrics help you understand how recipients interact with your emails. These insights are valuable for optimizing your content and timing.

Open Tracking

The system tracks when recipients open your emails. The open rate is calculated as:

Open Rate = (Number of Opens ÷ Number of Delivered Emails) × 100

Click Performance

Track how many recipients click links in your emails. The click rate shows the percentage of opened emails that received clicks:

Click Rate = (Number of Clicks ÷ Number of Opens) × 100

Using the Analytics Dashboard

The analytics dashboard provides real-time insights into your campaign's performance. Here's how to make the most of it:

Real-time Monitoring

Watch your campaign performance as it happens. The dashboard updates automatically to show:

  • • Immediate delivery confirmations
  • • Live open and click tracking
  • • Instant bounce notifications

Performance Comparison

Compare metrics across different campaigns to identify what works best:

Look for patterns in subject lines, send times, or content types that generate higher engagement.

Taking Action on Analytics

Use your analytics data to make informed decisions about future campaigns:

High Bounce Rates?

Clean your email list and verify subscriber addresses before sending.

Low Open Rates?

Experiment with different subject lines and sending times.

Low Click Rates?
